Saw this on the 11th Jan 2003

Anita and me is written by Meera Syal and deals with the friendship between Meena (whose parent's are Indian) and Anita (whose parents are crap). It's set in the Black Country somewhere.

Overall, it's quite a good film, nothing stunning, and some parts didn't work or were too long (e.g. "the stop the motorway" parade). Still, it was generally quite amusing and worth seeing.

Would I watch it again? - I wouldn't make a special effort to.
