Zoom in and out of the universe. Each click takes you 10 times closer or father away. Zoom out from a proton through a leaf cell, to the solar system, to 10 million light years away - http://micro.magnet.fsu.edu/primer/java/scienceopticsu/powersof10/index.html

Looking at upgading my computer (a Dell Dimension XPS T450) - probably by adding a Power Leap PL-iP3/T with a 1.2GHz Celeron.

In the meantime, I'm looking at Speeding Up Windows 98.

Saw Operation Kid Brother at a Klub Catusi / Cinephilia film night at the Midlands Arts Centre.

Read about and listened to Massive Attack - particularly Protection and Better Things - Tracey Thorn has a wonderful voice.

Mrs Miller is now recognised as one of the most underated musical geniuses of the 1960's. The whistling on Downtown is heart rendering - http://www.franklarosa.com/vinyl/Exhibit.jsp?AlbumID=77

Just how much information is there in the world? According to http://www.sims.berkeley.edu/research/projects/how-much-info/ there is roughly 1.5 billion gigabytes of intentionally recorded infomation, which is about 250 megabytes per person.

According to http://www.ccsf.caltech.edu/~roy/dataquan/ you'd need about 5 Exabytes (5 000 000 000 000 000 000 bytes) to record all words ever spoken by human beings. You'd also need a time machine and a lot of patience.
