I saw Phil Nichols last night, doing his "Edinburgh preview" show (i.e. he
hadn't worked out all the material). Still, he was brilliant, and went
down very well.
He had a theramin (spelling?) and various other instruments, and at one stage he got members of the audience on stage to play while he ad-libbed lyrics on the spot.
He also did "Only Gay Eskimo" - as his last or close to last song - which went down very well. You can download a copy of this (as performed by PN in
Corky And The Juice Pigs) from:

If you're an obsessive fan, you'll want to know it was at the Cheeky
Monkey Comedy Club, in the Station pub, Kings Heath, Birmingham, England on the 10th of July.
